A little about me

I’m kind of “the guy behind the curtain” that thrives on helping small business owners excel. In January 2023 I received my Google UX Design Certificate.

I am currently available for contract and freelance work. Knowing I played a small part in helping a local business be a dominating force in their market is what drives me.

My Story

Hello, Greg Greenamyer here. I’m a solopreneur working from my home office. I do outsource things occasionally, but I figured out a long time ago managing people is not one of my strengths.

I find my life is a lot easier and drama free by taking on only a handful of receptive clients that I can handle personally.

Being a solopreneur also allows me to be more flexible with my fees. I don’t have to charge exorbitant fees, (I ain’t cheap though). My overhead is low, you are only paying for my expertise, not my suite of offices and large staff.

I began my professional career as a real estate appraiser which has been a great help over the years. Appraising is basically analyzing data, doing competitive research, and synthesizing the results.

Over the years I have had great successes, even greater failures and learned a hell of a lot along the way. I’ve ventured into real estate, restaurants / bars, domain names, direct marketing, and website development.

The most important thing I have learned marketing online is you need more than SEO and a website to succeed. Despite what everyone else says being on the first page of Google doesn’t mean crap if you don’t have a plan to capitalize on that traffic.

Today I enjoy the flexibility being a solopreneur offers. I work pretty much 7 days a week but on my schedule. Throw in a little time management and I get a lot of shit done. This has allowed me to spend time with my 3 granddaughters and be a part of their lives. Priceless!

A few years ago my middle granddaughter got into horses. Boy was that a life changer! I had never been around horses in my life and then we helped her adopt an Off the Track Thoroughbred (A retired race horse). Talk about a learning experience!

That’s a story for a different time but the bottom line is it has been a great experience for our granddaughter, the horse (Halo) and my wife and I. I go to the barn a couple times a week and tinker around mucking stalls and grazing Halo. It’s great therapy and exercise.

Have a great day,
